For rotary quarter-turn valves, the Newton EH is easily mountable to an existing or new scotch-yoke actuator. Suitable for spring-return or double-acting actuators, the Newton EH uses the dead end of the actuator cylinder as a means of fluid storage. For actuators where this is not suitable, additional accumulators may be added that also serve as a fail-safe system.

The Newton EH is also capable of partial stroke tests, as well as line pressure sense.
